Hallie lives in Rugby with her two dogs, and is a graduate of Rugby High School. She began her college journey at Valley City State University and later earned her bachelor’s degree from Minnesota State University – Moorhead. After living in the Chicago and Denver areas, Hallie returned to her hometown in 2010, driven by a strong connection to her roots and community. She joined Anderson Funeral Home in 2011, where she found her calling in helping others through times of loss.

In 2017, Hallie was diagnosed with breast cancer. During her treatments, she made the decision to return to school and pursue a degree in Mortuary Science. Her determination and compassion carried her through both personal and academic challenges, and she became a licensed funeral director in the state of North Dakota.

On January 1, 2025, Hallie purchased Anderson Funeral Home, becoming the 4^th generation owner, continuing the tradition of dedicated, compassionate service the community has come to know and trust. She is honored to serve the families of Rugby, Towner and the surrounding area with care, dignity, and a deep commitment to guiding them through life’s most difficult moments.

Ron Volk was born and raised in Rugby, North Dakota, and is a proud graduate of Rugby High School. After graduation, Ron joined his father, Casper, and brother, David, in the family business, Rugby Sanitation, where he managed and worked for over 40 years with dedication and pride in serving the community.

Following his retirement from Rugby Sanitation, Ron began working part-time at Anderson Funeral Home. What started as a casual role quickly evolved into something more — today, Ron is an essential member of the team, known as the “right-hand man” for his reliability, steady presence, and willingness to help wherever needed.

Ron brings a lifetime of community connection, a strong work ethic, and a compassionate spirit to the families served by Anderson Funeral Home. His quiet leadership and behind-the-scenes support make a meaningful difference every day.
